PS5 stock has been incredibly hard to come by lately but it seems there’s a big wave of PS5 stock hitting UK and US retailers at the minute. Here’s where to find PS5 stock right now…
Amazon US dropped a bunch of PS5 stock on Thursday 21st January, around 10am ET / 3pm GMT, catching some gamers unawares. The inventory has now sold out but more is set to be released in the coming days – keep a close eye on Amazon’s website.
Elsewhere in the US, Gamestop is predicted to drop more PS5 bundles any minute and Best Buy and Target seem to be restocking fairly regularly.
In the UK, Currys PC World and Game dropped PS5 stock this week but both retailers are now sold out. Don’t worry, though. BT, EE and Smyths Toys are all tipped to release fresh PS5 stock tomorrow, 21st January.
We’re also hearing reports that Amazon UK is due PS5 stock from 1st February. John Lewis is also rumoured to release PS5 stock on the 2nd February, while Argos is rumoured to be overdue a huge PS5 stock drop.
Still no luck? Between now and April, Sony will reportedly have 3 million PS5s a month ready for retailers to sell. So we’re sure you’ll find one soon. Just don’t be tempted to pay over the odds for one from an auction site – not only will you pay more, you’ll also be rewarding unscrupulous scalpers who hoovered up early stock with the use of stock-checking bots.
Some buyers have been able to order next-gen consoles from European Amazon stores that deliver to the UK. Amazon Italy and Amazon Germany both had inventory at the end of December. (That trick has worked a treat for those seeking the next-gen Xbox.)

The brand new PS5 may have been out for over two months now, but that does not mean that everyone has been able to get hold of one. Stock issues have plagued the console since launch and whenever a new batch has been released, they are normally snapped up before you can even get one in your basket.
But could that be about to change? We have long heard that January was the month that we would see more stock released and given we are over halfway through the month now, that could well be any day now and starting to get hints as to when that will likely be.
GAME did have stock earlier this week, with John Lewis following suit and Currys going live on 20th – all to sell out pretty fast. While frustrating, this is a good sign as it points towards other retailers following suit and indicates that stock is out there once again.
We still expect the likes of Very and Amazon to have more imminently, around the end of January – although we are hearing whispers it could now be February with rumours swirling that February 2nd is a good date to check John Lewis. Smyths is also telling customers that the next date for PS5 stock will be February. Either way, more consoles are definitely coming and the dry spell could almost be, finally, over
